Redefining Golf Culture Through Socially-Responsible Architecture
An incredibly talented and thoughtful lady, our Woman in Golf guest this week is Christine Fraser! Golf has always been a consistent thread through Christine's life. She grew up learning to play golf on her family's golf course, which made a deep impression on her, prompting her to later compete in the NCAA Division One Varsity Golf circuit in Florida. She went on to get a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, after which she was offered a position in England, where she stayed for five years practicing golf course design under world-renowned architect Dr. Martin Hawtree. Christine kindly shares with us her story as well as her philosophy and approach to design. She uses traditional architectural concepts to redefine golf culture through socially responsible form and function, keeping environmental consideration top of mind. It is a pleasure of a chat, with connection at its core. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
