This week on Women in Golf we welcome the lovely Abby Liebenthal!
Abby is the founder and president of Fore the Ladies, which she runs in the hours she's not acting as the Senior Manager of Championship Marketing for the United States Golf Association (USGA). Fore the Ladies, Inc. is a female-based community and non-profit working to introduce more women to the game of golf. It was born out of the realization that a lot of women felt intimidated by the sport, and even when they were curious just didn't know where to start. Hoping to make the game more accessible and approachable, Fore the Ladies hosts intro-to-golf clinics where they bring women together to play, watch, and participate in everything golf has to offer.
In this episode, Abby walks us through how she got introduced to golf, starting Fore the Ladies and what it's been like growing the non-profit while managing her 9 to 5 job, fashion takes on the course, the power of community and so much more!
