Planting Seeds of Hope with PGA Tour Wives Association

The way these women give their time, energy and grace to bring hope and generosity to every tour stop is inspiring. We are honored to contribute to the success of their efforts this week at the Waste Management Open.

The beauty and power of connection.

Last week in Phoenix, I had the distinct pleasure of witnessing the beauty and power of human connection as we came together to support the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. It was also a celebration of the seeds that @pgatourwives has been planting for over three decades. The collective effort resulted in raising $10,000 for the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, a testament to the incredible impact we can have when we unite for a common cause.

The event, hosted by @lepotageraz, The Thunderbirds, our team at A. PUTNAM, Finemark Bank, Waste Connections, @truelinkswear, Alpha Omega Winery, and more, was a vibrant display of community support and generosity. It brought together individuals from various backgrounds, all driven by a shared desire to make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer and their families.

What struck me most was the way these women of @pgatourwives give their time, energy, and grace to bring hope and generosity to every tour stop. Their dedication to making a positive impact is truly inspiring, and we were honored to support their efforts this week at the WM Open.

The Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children's mission is to provide social, emotional, and financial support directly to families managing the health and well-being of a loved one with pediatric cancer. Their work is critical, as they offer a comprehensive range of support services and programs, including financial assistance, emotional support, and social programs.

Knowing that one child a day is diagnosed with cancer in Arizona, and that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children in America, the importance of ACFC's work becomes even more apparent[3]. Since 2014, ACFC has supported more than 10,000 children and families, offering practical support to local families through programs like cancer concierge, sunshine pack, and K9 companion visit.

Being a part of this event and witnessing the generosity of everyone involved has reinforced my belief in the power of connection. When we come together, share our resources, and lend our support, we can create a ripple effect of positive change that transforms lives and brings hope to those who need it most.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported this event and helped contribute to the incredible work of the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children battling cancer and their families.
