Sometimes, words just can’t capture the depth of an experience that touches you so profoundly. What a trip. What a course. And what an INCREDIBLE group of women. I hadn’t really anticipated crying at the end of a golf trip, but I drove away with happy tears in my eyes. I’ll never get over it…

Savannah

Arrival and Exploration

Day 1

Women journeyed from every corner—Washington DC, North Carolina, California, Illinois, and beyond—drawn by the allure of Cabot Cape Breton. The destination may be remote, but the road there is a breathtaking adventure all its own.

If there is ever a time to rent a little sports car or convertible, this is IT!!

Hiking and The Nest

Day 2

Morning Adventures

The day began with a morning hike and local exploration.

”I highly recommend adding an extra day to your trip to really take in the charming beauty of Inverness, Nova Scotia. Here, time simply slows down… If you let it.

I stayed in this little hidden gem. It’s off the beaten path, but has it’s own private beach and trails to hike!”

Afternoon Golf

For her 2 pm tee time at The Nest, Savannah changed into the Dress Blues Rita Skort, complemented by the Dress Blues Long Sleeve Keyhole Top. This look combined style and functionality for a perfect round of golf.

“The Nest Course may look unassuming at first glance, but don’t let its charm fool you—it’s sneaky hard! This par-3 course combined stunning scenery with a deceptively challenging layout and kept all of us on our toes!”

Evening Reception

The welcome reception and drinks at Cabot Bar patio called for a quick outfit change. Savannah opted for the Dress Blues Rita Dress, paired with white tennis shoes for a comfortable yet polished look.

The Cliffs and Whit's Pub

Day 3

“Playing Cabot Cliffs was simply emotional. It’s a round I’ll hold near and dear for years to come. Every hole felt like stepping into a living post-card, each one more breathtaking than the last. The course design paid respect to every part of the landscape and every part of the game.

This was the first time playing with a caddie and it truly added to the overall experience. He took great care in learning the nuances of my game and my bag (even as a newer player) and as my confidence in him grew, so did my confidence in my own play! I played one of my best rounds yet, that day.”

Dinner at Whit's Pub

For dinner, Savannah elevated her style with Black Asti Trousers, Black Knit Tank Polo, and tan slingback flats, perfect for a casual yet refined pub atmosphere.

The Links and Panorama

Day 4

“My last round at The Links course was pure girlhood. I’m still laughing. The day was filled with joyful banter and gorgeous scenes, making it feel like we were living out our own charming, golf-inspired movie. It was the epitome of what Fore The Ladies is all about!”

Farewell Dinner at Panorama

To cap off the trip, Savannah dressed up in the Silver Birch Tulip Pants, the White Sleeveless Tux, and the Cream Ada Reversible Bomber. She completed the look with her chic tan flats.
